Hi, my name is David. I work as a freelance motion designer and art director. I love communicate using motion, design and art. I consider myself a "product of globalisation." Born in Barcelona, I grew up in Spain where I did an internship as a photographer and had my first experiences with video.

I have been living in Zurich for the past 16 years, working as a cameraman, video editor, compositor and motion designer. In 2006, I finished my degree in visual communication. I love to read newspapers and magazines to understand what's going on in the world. I am interested in history, art and - of course - design.

What does "dve" mean? No one knows for sure. Some say it stands for "deep visual explorations", others think that it could be "designed visual esthetics" and even some people suggest that it is the acronym of "digital video effects". 

Creating moving pictures is more than just my job, it is my passion. I have many skills in video, graphic and visual conception, customer relationship and project management.
